Mike Harmon and Arnie Spanier are diving into the latest LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith drama! A video surfaced on “X” showing LeBron walking up to Stephen A. Smith to address recent comments Smith made about Bronny James, right between the 3rd and 4th quarters of the Knicks vs. Lakers game—and let's just say, LeBron was NOT in the mood for smiles. Stephen A. Smith responded on his show today with an apology, explaining that LeBron was speaking about Bronny and was approaching him as a father, not as an NBA player. Harmon and Spanier didn’t hold back with their reactions, and things got... interesting!
Mike Harmon:
“Where was the recorded disclaimer at the end of that? The idea of this message being paid for by the committee to elect Stephen A. Smith to the presidency or whatever office he chooses to run for—that was the most PATHETIC thing I’ve ever heard!”
Arnie Spanier:
“I understand what LeBron is trying to do; he just went about it the wrong way. I like LeBron, and he hasn’t done anything wrong that requires an apology. He’s been exemplary for the most part in carrying the NBA, so I do think we’re too hard on him. But in this situation, he should have DMed him or gotten his number instead of approaching him during the third or fourth quarter... THAT’S CRAZY!”
