Zips Banned From Postseason Play This Season

The Akron Zips football team is being banned from postseason play for the upcoming season.

The NCAA's decision is being made in response to poor academic ratings in the classroom.

Akron will be ineligible for a bowl game or to participate in the MAC title game this year.
