There are only four teams left in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and they are all #1 seeds which is the first time that has happened since 2008. It’s rare that the chalk dominates like it has this year and Dan considers how the new N.I.L. and transfer portal rules may have contributed. But Dan doesn’t have a problem with the lack of underdogs for the final weekend although he might have enjoyed seeing more turmoil in the early rounds.
Dan Patrick: “Are you disappointed that we have four seeds, the top seeds, and they’re going to play for the Championship? I’m not. Do I want to see a little more madness earlier? Yes, I do, and we didn’t see that.”
