The Cleveland Guardians never trailed on the way to a 4-2 win over the Giants in San Francisco. Daniel Schneemann went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in the fourth inning to lead the Guardians to a second straight victory. Jose Ramirez also drove-in a run for Cleveland. Starting pitcher Logan Allen earned his fifth win on the mound and Emmanuel Clase recorded his 16th save as the Guardians improved to 37-and-35. Cleveland has won back-to-back games and will try to sweep the series this afternoon.
