James Cameron just dropped the first trailer for “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” and it’s already heating things up this winter.
Hitting theaters December 19th, the third installment introduces the Ash People, described as fierce, fire-wielding warriors who dance around blazing pits of flame.
The new tribe’s leader, Varang, played by Oona Chaplin, makes a bold statement in the trailer: “Your goddess has no dominion here.”
Familiar faces like Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, and Sigourney Weaver return, alongside newcomers like Michelle Yeoh and David Thewlis.
The previous “Avatar” film, “Avatar: The Way of the Water,” came out in 2022.
