Real-Life “Fairy Godmother Has Granted Over 30K Wishes For Those In Need

Since Jamie Holmes-Ward founded her nonprofit Jamie's Dream Team in 2005, she has granted over 30,000 wishes to people facing medical conditions, trauma, or tragedy. Having been born with a birth defect and enduring dozens of surgeries herself, Ward understands what many of these families are going through and she feels compelled to help.

Recently, Jamie’s Dream Team supported 11-year-old Aubrey Bogacki, who survived a tragic car crash this summer that took the lives of her father and two siblings. After learning about Aubrey’s love for Taylor Swift, Ward’s organization secured tickets for the tween and her mother to attend the singer's “Eras Tour” in Indianapolis. They have also arranged for a visit to Walt Disney World when she recovers from her injuries.

The mission of Jamie's Dream Team is to bring hope and joy to families in difficult times, and over the years, they’ve organized weddings, trips, and special events to that end. They rely on donations from generous supporters, but they’re fueled by Ward’s determination to continue fulfilling wishes for those in need.
