The Cavaliers showed no quit in a comeback win over the defending champion Celtics. Cleveland defeated Boston 115-111 in an Eastern Conference showdown at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The Cavs entered the fourth quarter trailing by 12 before outscoring Boston 43-27 in the final frame. Donovan Mitchell had 35 points while Darius Garland finished with 22. The Cavs snapped a two-game losing streak to improve to 18-and-3. Jayson Tatum led Boston with 33 points and eight rebounds. The Celtics had a seven-game win streak snapped to fall to 16-and-4.
