Everything appeared to be in the Cavs favor tonight. A home game against the rival Golden Sate Warriors who were on a back to back after an overtime loss in Boston last night. Golden State head coach Steve Kerr decided to get some rest for his top guys(Curry, Thompson, Green, Wiggins). It looked like a sure thing for the Cavs...right up until the tip-off.

Golden State stole the show with a barrage of 3 point shots making 23 out of 43 attempts. They led by as many as 20 points at one point, and came away with a 120-114 victory. Jordan Poole led the way for the Warriors with a "Steph Curry like" 32 points including 5 3 pointers.

The Cavs were short handed as well without Donovan Mitchell who sat out for the second straight game with a groin injury. Darius Garland led the way with 31 points and 10 assists, while Caris LeVert added 22 points. After the game head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said "We didn't respect the game. It's that simple. We thought some of those guys were out so we were gonna take it lightly. We got what we deserved."

With the loss the Cavs season record drops to 28-19 as they get set for a back to back of their own tomorrow vs Milwaukee who comes to town with a record of 29-16.
