PHILADELPHIA, PA -- The 76ers stud center Joel Embiid was a man on a mission on Saturday night, scoring 14 points in the opening quarter on his way to a 40 point night. The Wells Fargo Center was flooded with MVP chants as the 76ers rolled to a 103-93 win over the visiting Cavaliers.

Cleveland's All Star point guard Darius Garland was a game time decision due to back problems, and went on to play at a very high level. Garland went on to lead the Cavaliers in scoring with 27 points on 11-23 shooting from the field.

The Cavaliers will prepare for the Atlanta Hawks when they square off on Tuesday night in Atlanta. Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm Et at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
