CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cavaliers hosted a pesky Thunder team on Saturday night following two nights off. Cleveland came out of the gates swinging, but the Thunder continued to fight back through the entirety of the game. Despite having 23 turnovers to go along with a rough night at the charity stripe, the Cavaliers were able to fend off the Thunder by the final score of 94-87.
Cleveland's surging star Darius Garland stepped up when the Cavaliers needed him most, leading his team in scoring with 23 points with 11 dimes. Cavaliers rookie Evan Mobley recorded a career high 17 rebounds, along with 15 points on 50% shooting from the field.
The Cavaliers will take Sunday off before hosting the New York Knicks on Monday evening. Tip off is set for 7:00 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
