Garland Leads Cavaliers Past Spurs 114-109

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- The surging Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to the lone star state to take on a scuffling Spurs team, who had lost their previous four games. Cleveland jumped out to a 9-point lead early into the game but the Spurs fought back, keeping the game close for the remainder of the game. Darius Garland kept his foot on the gas pedal down the stretch as it proved to be too much for the Spurs, who fell to the Cavaliers by the final score of 114-109.

Darius Garland led the charge for a tired Cavaliers team, keeping the offense flowing when he was on the court. The young point guard finished the game with 32 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds. Cleveland big man Jarrett Allen had full control in the paint on his way to a 17 point and 16 rebound night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers earned their third consecutive win and move to a record of 25-18. Cleveland will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday for the second game of a back to back. Tip-off is set for 8:00 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
