Cavs handle short-handed Bucks for sixth straight win

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 119-90 for the team's sixth consecutive victory; all by double-digits. The Cavs also snapped an eight-game losing streak against the Bucks, who played without all-stars Giannis Antetokounmpo (COVID protocols) and Kris Middleton (knee). However, the Cavs were also down key players with both Evan Mobley and Isaac Okoro in COVID protocols.

Collectively, the Cavs shot 50% from the field, 35.6% from three, and shot 92.9% of their free throws - all figures higher than the Bucks. Five Cavs players scored double-digit points, led by Cedi Osman with 23 off the bench, and starter Darius Garland with 22.

The Cavs improve to 19-12, third place in the Eastern Conference, and percentage points behind the Chicago Bulls (17-10) for first place in the Central Division.

The Cavs will take their 10-5 road record into Atlanta for a clash with the Hawks (14-15) tomorrow at 7:30 PM.
