BROOKLYN, NY -- The Brooklyn Nets welcomed an injury-riddled Cavaliers team on Wednesday night at the Barlay's Center. With the absence of Evan Mobley, the Nets took full advantage of the on court height mismatch. LaMarcus Aldridge scored a season high off the bench for the Nets, leading the charge with 24 total points. Brooklyn fended off the Cavaliers in the late 4th quarter to secure a 109-99 win.
Veteran point guard Patty Mills kept the Nets offense flowing, shooting at a 50% clip on his way to a 21 point night. James Harden led all scorers with 27 points with 10 assists to go along with it.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will head back home to host the surging Golden State Warriors on the second of back to back games. Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
