Wizards Mount Late Game Comeback, Defeat Cavaliers 97-94

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cavaliers were looking to stay hot when they hosted the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. Cleveland closed the first half on an 11-0 run to take a 4-point lead into halftime. Down by 2 with 15 seconds to go, Bradley Beal fought through contact to feed Kyle Kuzma for a wide open go-ahead three ball, and the Wizards would go on to win by the final score of 97-94.

Bradley Beal scored 10 of his 13 total points in the third quarter alone, shooting a rough 4-19 from the field. Kyle Kuzma led the Washington starters in total points with 22, including 5 rebounds.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will take Thursday off before hosting the Detroit Pistons in what will be the first night of a back-to-back. Tip-off on Friday is set for 7:30 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
