Miami Heat Cools Cavs in 2nd Half, 124-107

CLEVELAND--Offensively, the Cavs hung in there with the defending Eastern Conference champs. But the ball movement and firepower from the Miami Heat was too much for Cleveland as they fell to the Heat 124-107 Saturday night.

Cavs matched their season-high in 20 made three-pointers (7 of 9 to open the game) as they shot 50% from downtown. However, the Heat also shot 50% from downtown as they were 18 of 36.

Cavs have dropped six straight games. They are mathematically still alive for the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. But the end is near as they are currently eight games back of the 10th seed Washington Wizards with only eight games left to play. If the Wizards win tonight against the Dallas Mavericks, the Cavs will officially be eliminated from playoff contention.
