Nuggets Snap Losing Streak, Roll Past Cavaliers 133-95

DENVER, CO -- The Cavaliers started the game with a 4-0 lead, which ended up being the largest lead of the game for Cleveland. Denver's starting five jumped out to a 25-12 lead, before extending the deficit to as much as 18 points before the end of the opening quarter. The Nuggets shot a lights out 51 of 86 from the field on their way to a 133-95 blowout win over the visiting Cavaliers.

The three point woes continued for the young Cavaliers team, shooting an atrocious 22 percent from beyond the arc, knocking down a total of 8 long balls. Ball security was once again an issue for the Cavaliers to go along with their lack of three pointers, turning the ball over 17 times.

In the midst of a three-game losing streak, the Denver Nuggets were in dire need of a victory to get back on track. Denver superstar Nikola Jokic was the main facilitator for the Nuggets' offensive surge, quarterbacking the half court offense from both the high and low post. The big man scored 12 points while dropping 12 assists and pulling in 6 boards. Paul Millsap led the Nuggets in scoring with 22 points on 7 of 8 shooting.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will continue their west coast road trip, heading to Portland to take on the Trailblazers this weekend. Tip-off for Friday's matchup between Portland and Cleveland is set for 10 pm ET at Moda Center at the Rose Quarter in Portland, Oregon. Check out highlights from tonight's game below!
