A Jazzy Night to Forget! Jazz Rout Cavs 117-87

CLEVELAND--The shorthanded Cleveland Cavaliers struggled all night against a hot Donovan Mitchell-led Utah Jazz team. Jazz defeat the Cavs on Tuesday night 117-87.

The Cavs were missing their starting backcourt of Colin Sexton and Darius Garland to a left ankle sprain and right shoulder sprain respectively. Kevin Love is still out with a right calf strain, Andre Drummond was a late scratch with a right Achilles bruise, Dante Exum and Matthew Dellavedova were also out with injuries. Kevin Porter Jr remains out for personal reasons.

Cavs are 2-0 this season when Sexton-Garland-Love-Drummond are in the starting lineup.

Below are the highlights of Jazz-Cavs including Mitchell who scored 27 points and former Cavalier Jordan Clarkson who scored 21 points off the bench.

Cavs leading scorer was Cedi Osman with 17 points but it was not enough.

The Cavs scored 100 points in each of their first three games (3-0). They are 2-7and haven't scored 100 points since Dec 27, 2020.
