The Guardians are rewarding their star player.
ESPN reports Jose Ramirez agreed to a seven-year, $175 million contract on Saturday.
The 33-year-old third baseman was already signed through 2028, but the new deal includes a no-trade clause along with performance bonuses.
Ramirez finished third in AL MVP voting last year after hitting .283 with 30 homers and 85 RBIs.
