The Browns have lost a young receiver for the rest of the year.
The team announced yesterday that David Bell has been placed on injured reserve and will undergo season-ending hip surgery.
He caught three passes for 27 yards in last weekend's win over the Jaguars.
The Browns are second in the AFC North at 1-and-1 and will square off against the Giants from Huntington Bank Field on Sunday afternoon.
