Cavs send McGee to Denver for Future Second Round Picks and Player

According to NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavaliers have made a deal on the morning of the NBA trade deadline.

The Cavs have agreed to send backup Center Javale McGee to the Denver Nuggets, who he previously played for from 2012-2015, for an unprotected 2027 second round pick, a protected 2023 second round pick (protected to 46) and 22 year old Center/Power Forward Isaiah Hartenstein.

McGee played in 33 games for the Cavs this season averaging 8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.

Hartenstein was drafted by the Houston Rockets 43rd overall in the 2017 NBA draft. He has appeared in 30 games for the Nuggets this season averaging 3.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game.
