Goodyears, Ariz - Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez and Designated Hitter Franmil Reyes were sent home from training camp Saturday morning for violations of Covid-19 protocols. Reyes was asked by the team about a haircut he received in the area at which point he volunteered information about a dinner meeting in a local restaurant with Ramirez.
This is the second time in as many years Reyes has been sent home for violating Covid-19 protocols. Reyes attended a 4th of July party while MLB teams were in camp preparing for the shortened 2020 season.
