Cavs Aquire Allen, Prince in NBA Blockbuster

Shockwaves were sent through the landscape of the NBA late this afternoon as the Brooklyn Nets acquired Rockets superstar guard James Harden in a three team trade involving the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Following the trade, the Rockets and Pacers made a separate deal involving All Star point guard Victor Oladipo who is on his way to Houston.

In Jarrett Allen, the Cavs have acquired a young center of the future (22 years old) and a key frontcourt piece if Andre Drummond is involved in a trade before the deadline or leaves via free agency. Allen has played 12 games for the Nets this season averaging 11.2 points per game, 10.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 blocks.

Taurean Prince will provide valuable depth at the wing for an injury riddled Cavaliers roster. Prince averaged 8.1 points off the bench for the Nets in 12 games.
