Hernandez Walk-Off for Indians Saturday Night Win over Brewers 4-3

CLEVELAND--Oscar Mercado led the bottom of the ninth with a leadoff double off Brewers closer Josh Hader (first hit given up by Hader this season. Then Cesar Hernandez did this below to win the game:

The Indians offense which has not been a bright spot in 2020 delivered against Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff in the fifth starting with Hernandez's first RBI of the game (a double to center to bring home Mercado). Then Jose Ramirez blasted a two run homer.

Brewers Keston Hrura hit a solo homer in the next inning, then the Brewers tied the game in the eighth with an Orlando Arcia home run.

But the Indians handled their business in the ninth inning and picked up a huge win Saturday night.

Shane Bieber (RHP 6-0, 1.20) will start in the rubber game for the Tribe against LHP Brett Anderson (2-2, 4.18). Coverage begins at 12:05pm with the Ken Ganley Kia Tribe Insider with Chris Beeble.
