Colin Cowherd: “Do you think he respects you?”
Tyson Fury: “He has to respect me. I’m the only guy he’s never knocked out, and I’m the only guy he has hit flush, knocked down, got back up, and got right back into him. Deontay Wilder has mental issues at the moment because he’s hit me with his best two punches clean for free, and he put me down but I got back up. Every one of them he’s ever hit before have stayed down. That psychologically has to have an effect on him. A LONG lasting effect. I saw something yesterday in the press conference where he said ‘The only way you can ever beat Tyson Fury is to nail him to the canvas.’ That’s very, very true Deontay, and you ain’t the man to do it.” (Full Interview at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20 KO’s) join The Herd to discuss his upcoming fight with Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KO’s) on Saturday, February 22nd in what is being billed as one of the most anticipated fights of the 21st century.

Fury told Colin Cowherd that he’s coming into the fight bigger than he was in their memorable December, 2018 fight, and say he’s looking to ‘take him out early’ with ‘more power, more strength, more brute force.’

Fury says Wilder has ‘mental issues’ knowing that he delivered two devastating headshots to Fury in their 2018 slugfest, that dropped Fury to the canvas, only to see Fury get up seconds later in one of the most stunning recoveries in boxing history.

Wilder memorably told Cowherd days after the fight that ‘God lifted Fury from the dead.’

Check out the interview below as Fury says it’s been eating up Wilder inside ever since.
