The Knicks roll into San Antonio to face the Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals tonight and the trash talking has already begun. Knicks super-fan Spike Lee is already coming at Victor Wembanyama and Stugotz is afraid it will only add to Wemby’s motivation.
John “Stugotz” Weiner: “(Victor Wembanyama) is gonna walk into the Mecca for the first time playing in an NBA Finals game thinking that's his building before he's even played a game in the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden.”
Israel Gutierrez: “You’re trying to soften him up.”
Stugotz: “This guy scares me. I'm so terrified of him.”
Israel: “There's a word that you use there. He's not a guy. He's an alien.”
Stugotz: “I don't know what he is, but he just like, he holds on to this stuff Spike. Leave it alone”
