CLEVELAND, OH--- Ladies and Gentleman the Cleveland Guardians walked off the Yankees to take a 2-1 lead in the ALDS. Oscar Gonzalez was once again the hero in the bottom of the 9th inning. The Guardians showed early in the game this was going to be a dog fight, forcing New York starter Luis Severino to throw 50+ pitches through the first 2 innings.

The Guardians took an early 2-0 lead in the first 2 innings with 2 RBI singles from the bats of Josh Naylor and Steven Kwan, who had a 3 hit night. Steven Kwan started things off getting his 3rd hit of the night to get on base, we would then see Amed Rosario hit an RBI single to bring home Myles Straw. Jose Ramirez then loaded the bases for Oscar Gonzalez to hit a ground ball to center field. clearing Steven Kwan and Amed Rosario off the bases.
