Cavs Beat Pelicans 113-103 - Mitchell Leaves Game With Groin Strain

The Cavaliers earned a big win without their star player as they beat the Pelicans 113-103 in Cleveland. Darius Garland led all scorers with 30 points and dished out 11 assists for a double-double while Jarrett Allen logged one of his own on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell scored 11 points before leaving the game in the second half with a groin strain. Cleveland outscored New Orleans 35-22 in the final quarter to secure the win. The Cavs improved to 28-and-17 and are fifth in the Eastern Conference. The team heads to Memphis on Wednesday.
