CLEVELAND - Bill Wills interviews embattled Republican Congressman Anthony Gonzalez Wednesday morning at 7:50 a.m. Republican party leaders have turned their back on Gonzalez of Rocky River. The State of Ohio’s Republican Central Committee voted last week to tell Gonzalez he should resign, saying he betrayed his constituents by voting to impeach former President Trump.
Gonzalez also has been censured by party leaders, which holds no official force, but it is likely that Gonzalez will not get party backing if he runs for re-election next year. Gonzalez already has a couple announced challengers from his own party.
