Big Second Half Lifts Cavaliers Over Pistons 122-107

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cleveland Cavaliers hosted a scuffling Detroit Pistons squad following a close loss to Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. After a back-and-forth start to the game, the Cavaliers locked in for a big second half. Cleveland outscored the visiting Pistons by 17 points in the second half on their way to a 122-107 victory.

Second-year guard Darius Garland was welcomed back to the Cleveland starting lineup after being eased back into the flow of things following a shoulder sprain. Garland made a big difference on both ends of the floor, providing constant energy for the starting five. The young point guard finished the game with 14 points on 6-11 shooting.

Collin 'Young Bull' Sexton continues to rise the ranks of the top point guards in NBA. Sexton lit up Detroit for 29 points on 10-14 shooting, while dropping 5 dimes and pulling in 5 rebounds. Facing his former team, Andre Drummond played with extreme confidence on his way to a 23 point 16 rebound night.

The Cavaliers move to a 9-9 record on the season, finding themselves in the middle of the pack in the Easter Conference standings. Cleveland will begin a quick two-game road trip when they travel to New York City. The Knicks will host the Cavaliers on Friday night, tip-off set for 7:30 pm ET at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Check out highlights from tonight's Cavaliers victory below!
