The Mike Clevinger era in Cleveland is over. Hours before Monday's trade deadline, the Indians dealt Clevinger, Outfielder Greg Allen and a player to be named to the San Diego Padres for number of San Diego's top prospects.

Robert Murray was the first to break the news of Clevinger being dealt to the Padres

The Indians receive SS Gabriel Arias, LHP Joey Cantillo, SS Owen Miller, RHP Cal Quantrill, LF Josh Naylor and Catcher Austin Hedges in the deal. Arias, Cantillo, and Miller are considered San Diego's seventh, ninth and eleventh top prospects in the San Diego organization, respectively.

Clevinger was recalled from Lake County last week where he and fellow starter Zach Plesac were sent after they broke COVID-19 protocol earlier this month in Chicago.
